I been through some things. Traversed many types of valleys over the years. Some are a bit darker, there’s more stagnancy in some. My heart posture hasn’t always been the best in others and oof…y’all my mind…in some of those valleys it was so dark my mind might as well been beneath the soil. But thissss valley?? The one I just found myself in. I can't even feel some type of way about because I feel peace invading rooms I closed doors on years ago. I feel a calm and a current coming. Not for a storm but for a change, a good one. I don’t really know how to describe it I suppose but it’s just a good valley. Lots of growth, there’s rest, reassurance and much more faith than there was on the trail leading in. But the peace, I really be out her laying down in some green pastures and even though my heart aches, my soul is excited. I’m so loved. I’m so capable. I’m so Bek. And this is a good valley…I think i’ll take my time getting to the peak.

I hope this piece encourages you to find rest in a valley you find yourself in, you are loved and cared for and rest is allowed. We don’t have to climb daily.
