Do you believe that you’re ANOINTED?
That you have the power of life + death in you. It’s sewn into your dna. I like to remember that truth when I’m in a valley.

This piece is a loose style of flora. I wanted to paint a visual reminder that it is what you make it most times. In a valley, especially when the sun falls it can be scary. It can look as though everything is coming for you, that evil surrounds you. But YOU have the ability to speak life and decide what it is you’re seeing when it’s dark. You have truth you can cling to. So are you going to trust that these figures in the night seemingly lurking are addictions, heartaches, failures, etc? Or are you going to trust that your growth...the plants and flora that surrounded you as He tucked you in with pink lined skies just look a little different when the sun sleeps? Use the power in you to put the lies to death. And know the word!! It’s so vital. The word is like a protein we can tuck away in our hearts when we get too weary in the valleys. I had been clinging to psalm 104:8 “they flowed over the mountains, THEY WENT DOWN INTO THE VALLEYS, to the place you assigned for them.”

Read that verse again. It’s talking about the waters, streams. Like what?? This comforted me knowing He pays attention to the valleys we’re in. He sees all that goes on there, he intentionally assigns streams of mercy, of grace, of love to come into the valleys and water your growth. Don’t let fear and lies sneak in with the nightfall. You know whose you are and rest knowing you are anointed. Joy is coming, morning is here
