messed is a piece holding two stories from two walks of life. Putting the sadness, the rage, the excitement and joy onto the canvas in texture only to create a beautiful storm with it all. This piece was to encourage each viewer to be eager to approach new relationships as well as old, with a hope and an expectancy that by sharing their own stories of joy and heartbreak, or whatever struggles they house it gives space for the beauty to rise and paint the sky. Everyone has a mess they’re in or just came from, let’s share them with one another so the world might be a bit smaller and a whole lot more beautiful.
