The best way to describe this piece is my current place. As a mom I feel like in month 11 I found an understanding with my son. We had become acquainted. We had a rhythm of our own and the days weren’t as murky or foggy as they were. I had clarity of who I was becoming as both a mother and just a human. I had clarity of who this beautiful boy was. Everything seemingly felt more structured…still hard and incredibly worth it but lots of joy and understanding amidst the chaos that is motherhood. I’ve liked being here.
