i love painting valleys because they’re ever present in our lives so that relatability helps even myself feel seen within the canvas. But What I love most is my freedom to place a sunshine wherever I’d like it to live. Even if it’s on the floor of the valley with the uncurled ferns. I think hope is like that. Found on the damp ground and if you can just find a way to cling to it, it’ll allow you to hold on til the sunlight peeks through. You’re never alone there even though it feels that way.
